Mindful Art Explorations-Kids + Families

This Sunday's Class: January 17th -Mandala Making -working from the inside out, beginning with our intention, feel inspired by the shapes around you as we carefully build on our mandala.

- different coloured markers or crayons or pencil crayons
- post-it notes (optional)
Use whatever you have on hand.
Now, more than ever, we require more ways to be present, grounded, calm in order to remain resilient and move through our life experiences with ease and joy!
This process has created a state of presence and resilience for me and I have found that this is something that we are craving, especially children.
These classes allows us to express ourselves freely and find joy in each moment by practicing to listen to our inner guidance.
Each week, we will delve into a creative practice that helps us feel calm, centered and joyful!
Each class will include:
- A Mindful Practice: (5-10 min) including a short meditation/visualization and heartfelt intention setting, breath technique, affirmation for the week
- A Creative Practice (45 min) most of the class will be creating using materials you already have at home)-drawing, colouring/painting, or collaging
- A Heartfelt Closing with Gratitude and sharing for anyone who wants to share (5 min)
